Talking Gary Larson "Farside" Dog Cartoon

I was researching The Farside the other day (for my son's birthday present) and found this cartoon that I hadn't seen before. I've seen the What dogs hear "Blah, blah, blah, Ginger, blah, blah, blah" one before, but not this one and it cracked me up!

Anyone else here a Farside fan, and if so, can you describe your favorite cartoons? They are harder to come by online as Larson himself has asked people to not post them everywhere... I thought he might not mind this one since it's going on a dog forum.

I love the Far Side! One of my favorites was when the lady dog caught her husband filling up from a water house prior to a night out marking the neighborhood. And the one where Ginger decides to take out Mrs. Whatever-Her-Name-Is flowers once and for all, using a back hoe. He has a really warped sense of humor, but it's so funny. There used to be a Run to the Far Side foot race in SF, in which people dressed up as their favorite Far Side characters -- dogs, cows, etc.

I've never seen the dog and water hose (I assume you meant "hose"?) one!! Sounds great! If you check out Gary Larson on Wikipedia, you can find a chart specifying all the different types of characters he uses and how many cartoons he has of each! Cows and chickens are very popular! "CAR!!"

Karen, where did you get that cartoon from? I like the one where the cows are calling farmer brown on the telephone---can't remember it fully so I would like to look through his cartoons.
