I'm a little stupid!!!!

I need to explain first that I am ALMOST a complete techno-phobe. Despite being on this forum everyday, I do still prefer humans to computers - well, most of the time!

I love the new look forum, don't have to wear my glasses half as much, but I'm struggling slightly with all the HOW TO info. SO, here goes....

In simple terms please can someone let me know how I can put captions between each photo's when I post them? I actually figured out how to post the pics but would like to put individual descriptions of each one!...

Also, how do I place an avavtar of our gorgeous pup next to my user name?

I normally am pretty good at picking stuff up but with technology I am completely blonde! (no offence meant - from a natural blonde).

For pictures having captions you can try this;

First hit the "Post Reply" (Or New Thread) button.
Then hit the Attachment Paper Clip symbol that is on the top line of all the symbols in the posting box.
Add the photos you want to include. Up to five at a time.

Then type your captions. Hit the Attachment paper clip again and it will drop down. Click the picture you want to add and it'll add the attachment code to the message.

Type your next caption, hit the Attachment paper clip again and chose the individual picture again.

As for Avatars, you can go into your User CP and then click on Edit Avatar. Click on the Browse Button and find the picture in your computer you want to use for your avatar. Double click on that picture in your computer and it will put that information into the line on Upload images. Then click on Save changes. After a little bit the avatar picture will then come up for you on here.

glad i am not alone it took Mist on the UK site ages to get me to do that and even now i lose the plot and do it wrong
