Putting a picture in my signature... going slowly crazy!

I've been trying to create a signature for my posts. I have used the (excellent) instructions in this section but am unable to get my photo to show. I used pitapata to create a ticker. But I think the problem may be that I don't use Photobucket or anything like it to store my photos on. My photos are all held locally on my computer desktop. How can I insert a photo so that it shows? I thought it had successfully uploaded as the image shows in the "insert signature image" bit under "User CP" but when I preview a post isn't there. Could be I'm just being very dense......!

I made your profile picture into your avatar picture. Are your pictures on your computer stored as JPEg files?

I see you have objects in your signature, are they not what you want?

Are you also looking for an Avatar picture to be added so that it shows up next to your user name on the board?

Smile Many thanks Rob!

Yes the photos are jpeg files. Would a different format work better? Thanks for your help.

JPEG work here. What is the file size you are trying to upload? If it is too large you may have to cut down the file size first.

Yay! Success!

Many thanks Rob. I made the 2nd file size smaller and it has worked.
