I just wanted to introduce Axl's 'little' brother Angus who was born May 1, 2012. At a shade under 8 months old, he is tipping the scale at a whopping 77 lbs (not fat). We brought him home at 7 weeks the third week of June and he was a tiny little 12 lb puff ball and 6 months later he is about an inch shorter than Axl at the withers 23" and the same weight. He comes from show lines according to his breeder and you can really see the difference in body type between he and Axl. Angus has massive bones, leg bones easily twice the width of Axl's, enormous paws and a ridiculously dense luxurious coat. His head is massive and blocky - shaped more like an English cream. I guess it's safe to assume that he is going to be WAY outside the breed standard both height and weight considering his size at less than 8 months. My vet says that he is a 'fine specimen' but estimates his adult weight to be 100 lbs or more. He has a super gentle disposition, and not a mean bone in his body. He was basically house broken in about 2 weeks and seems to be primarily motivated by food. He does love to swim but is very clumsy on land and is nothing at all like Ax who was athletic and agile from day 1. I am hoping he just hasn't grown into those massive paws of his yet but I don't think he'll ever be an athletic disc dog like his brother.

Angus and Axle are both sweet. My puppy, Mac (now a year old) was born May 7, 2012. He is about 75lbs. When we got him he was very light colored, but now has a darker, wavy coat.
