I checked in last time on day 86 and was afraid to say a word to break a luck, I am sorry you had to start from 0 again. Hope this new beginning goes into 4 digits. Wishing you and your family Happy Holidays.

So far, so good...we are up to day 6 seizure free! Yep, I had just mentioned he was at day 85, 86, 87... The only thing different this time is Hubby n I were hollering at each other off n on all day! No bad treats, corn laced food, nor seafood...the hollering is the only thing different...

What a time to break the long chain of seizure-free days. But at least you have found a way to stop the clusters and that's so important! I hope you stay warm, get some rest, and get the New Year off to a wonderful seizure-free beginning.

Hugs and prayers,
Lucy

Yipee to no clusters

We must confess that we also were dealing with a bit of marital irritability the last two times Tia has seriously gone down hill and I know that others have suspected stress to cause seizures.

It is a good ice breaker to laugh and say we'd better stop being so serious otherwise Tia will be sick.

Here's to happier and peaceful new year!

I'm tired...cut wood all afternoon...home for 1/2 hour putting the grocers away...Tailer starts thrashing... ...seizure #45. We used Ocular Compression again...I think it helps calm his brain...when he comes out of it ~3 minutes...he's wondering hy we re hovering over him...he wants to go out n play...he wants to eat! He's fine...Hubby n I are jumpy. 17 days wasn't a stellar run, but that's what was dealt this time.

Fingers crossed that this is just a single seizure and not the start of a threesome. I know you need rest. Please take care of yourself.

Hugs and prayers,
Lucy

Sorry he only managed 17 days, but he sounded to bounce back well afterwards. Do hope there are no more.

Look after yourself, won't you.

Thoughts and hugs

Lyn

So sorry to hear of Tailer's troubles, and all the stress and heartache I imagine it's causing you as well. My thoughts are with you guys. Our Cody recently started having seizures and, as you know, it's a real emotional roller coaster ride for everyone involved. Luckily we have this amazing, phenomenal, outstanding community of people and pets here at goldenretrieverforum.com that lavish us with their love and support so generously. If you ever need someone with to talk to, you can PM me anytime. (That same offer goes to anyone else reading this who's facing a similar experience).
