| I can join your group with pain I feel some days and I am a week short of 18 months. Sometimes I think it will never go away. I was in a grocery store on Sunday and saw the parents of my Buddy's friend I did not see for long as he was gone. Before we even started talking I started crying, made them cry too. It was a short visit just to pick up a few things, I ended up going thru the store crying, a few stopped their shopping to ask is everything ok, what could I tell them, am I ok, no I will never be ok. There will be always moments to bring me to tears, no matter how much time passed. Hugs to you all.

| Just stopping in...I am so sorry for your loss...both girls in such a short time...I'd be a true basket case!! Dave, your credit card...  ...I know you cried...maybe just on the inside...buddy's Mom Forever...yep, crying in the grocery store...been there... Why is any death so hard? I am a wreck about Alice n May n Tom n Max n many,many more...

| On my way home from work today, I drove by one of the routes that Fozzie and I used to take on our daily walks, and I burst out crying. You really never know when one of those moments will strike you. I don't thing we ever totally get over their loss...

| Oh Lyn, I have been without the internet till now since moving house and I have just read this and shed a few tears. I am so sorry about Alice. It must have been so awful to lose both so close together. I hope time is healing or at least day to day life is easier. |

| Neither Alice nor May would mind me hijacking this thread to tell you all that a new golden girl will be coming into my life. I said I would let you know - so I am doing! On February 8th we will fetch our new pupster home from Scotland. I guess she will want a new thread of her own, but I hope my dear friends here will watch her progress, and I will definitely stay around here with you too. The last months were some of the worst of my life; your friendship and support helped me through, and means so much. You are very special friends. Lucy, I may very well take up your suggestion that May and Alice have their own thread of memories, but I will wait until I can write their names without the tears streaming down my face, as they are doing now. Yes, I am getting a new pup, but no, I will never, ever forget my darling girls May and Ally or my wonderful first golden, Asher. Below is a tangle of puppies; one of which is Ruby, our soon-to-be new girl! |
