Unfortunately the nightmare goes on. I have spoken to the nurse this morning and she said that Monty is no better and that the vet will update me later. Our own vet rang the vet at Chestergates and he was doing another ultrasound. (the third in the last few days the other two showed nothing untoward ) .

While I have been typing the nurse has just rang back to confirm what medication he is taking - not happy about that as I gave them detailed info last night and when he was originally admitted! I asked how he was and she said that he was pretty flat which has added to ny concern.

Stay strong, and know you have support here which is with you every step of the way.
Your gorgeous Monty is in the best place for now - we are all hoping so hard that they get to the bottom of the problem soon.
You're on such a hard path at present, but you're not alone with it.

Have spoken to Chestergates this evening. They had talked about opening Monty up again, but have decided against it currently, as the vet says there is not suffficient evidence, to do so. He is hanging in there at the moment.

Earlier in the day they said that his stomach was full and that no food was passing through but they have now said it is starting to and they will review the situation in the morning.

Thanks again for all the support. Will update again tomorrow.
