Lucy had five puppies the other night. The Vet came by yesterday and checked everybody out and all arre doing well except the youngest boy.

He was born lifeless but we revived him with prayers and massages -

He will not breast feed and needs to be tube fed. We have grown very attached to him already he looks like a little polar bear he is pure white.

Well he appears to have a problem in that he just crawls in tight clockwise circles. My wife thinks teh situation is hopeless - the vet said that his heart and everything else is good but that he is obviously less developed than his siblings. He stated that it should be obvious if he does not improve over the next several days. We are both willing to do whatever it takes.

My wife agonizes watching the puppy crawl in circles and she thinks we should make a decision imminently. We are both agonizing over this and I just do not want to give up too early. My mother had advanced breast cancer and the doctor told me she may only have a few weeks remaining to live. She totally recovered and lived another healthy two years.

I say alot of prayers and hope for the best but in the end we all want to do the right thing.

Nature is so cruel with puppies sometimes. If the vet thinks he is not suffering, then I think Lucy's reaction is important. Sometimes moms will ignore a pup who is truly not meant to make it. How does she feel about this pup?
