I got a package of frozen cut green beans to mix with Amber's kibble to help her lose some weight. She eats them OK. After thawing a package, how long will they keep in the refrigerator?
Jon loves his geen beans. He doesn't need to lose weight but green beans are his healthy treats.
I usually cook fresh ones & frozen them. He eats frozen one straight from freezer because he prefers frozen one. I guess he likes the cold crunch feeling?!
He never had problem with eating frozen green beans.
After defrosting, beans last 3 - 4 days in the fridge. However, it is best to just defrost as much as you need for that day and leave the rest in the freezer.
Duffy will eat them frozen. I blanch fresh green beans and quick freeze them on a cookie sheet and then vacuum seal them. We usually don't buy frozen green beans but my wife likes to use canned in some recipe's. We hardly ever keep anything for more than two days in the fridge.
