Seamus thinks he is sooooo smart. He has learned that the bathroom door is the only door with a lever handle instead of a knob. So, he can jump up, hit the lever and be in the bathroom in a second. Toilet paper is his favorite -- he shreds it -- but towels are good too!
Our front screen door also has a lever handle on it and I'm always worried that Mr. Seamus will figure that out. So, we keep it locked when we have the inside door open.
Good for you, Seamus! Don't try your trick on the front door, though!
We have a pocket door between our kitchen and dining room, and Tucker and Tonka have figured out how to slide it open.
Well, Seamus is not happy! I bought a regular knob lockset for the bathroom door and even though he "hits" it with his paw it just won't open like the old lever one did!
He's thinking "Ha! Bet she doesn't remember to close the door every single time she leaves that room. And then toilet paper you will be MINE!!!" LOL. He's a smart boy. I don't think you are entirely done with the t.p. thefts....
Seamus is sure thinking "those humans, they are not fun". He will forgive you
