Amber has this goofy grin on her face most of the time. It's probably just the way her face has grown, but my daughter thinks she is smiling. Do most goldens have this facial characteristic?
Great capture! My first dog, a black lab mix, really did the canine smile but none of my other dogs have. It's kinda freaky when they do it. Dogs are very observant and they do it to mimic their owners.
These other pics aren't the same thing at all. I never would interpret them as a smile, but they certainly make people smile.
I had to go to Moraine Lake for a wedding on Friday, I had the most severe separation anxiety! Can't wait to take Willow there! Can't wait until she can come to all my mountain trips maybe I'll train her to carry my gear
Rundle is so handsome, I bet he loves his mountain adventures.
You all are the best! I knew I'd never make it through the first page without smiling myself. Thanks for making my very early Sunday start out so warm!
I love this thread so much. I'm actually in tears right now because I knew my Maggie at the Bridge smiled all the time, so I went back to look for some photos and it just brought back such wonderful memories. Here is a bunch of her smiling. She even would cheese it up for a posed photo (like the first day of school one with her boys). The last photo of her on the little boardwalk bridge in the woods showed her still smiling on the day before she died. Finally, new pup Sadie is definitely starting to show some good smiles too!
Yes, especially at the beach or when there's food. Except when there's food he also does his best St. Bernard impression too....
