I saw this article this morning, please be very careful. Some sicko is putting nails in sausages and leaving them for dogs to eat..

Really sad to see there are people like this in the world, but it is what it is....

I take precaution with ANY treat/food item I see on the ground. There was a little "scare" at our local park last week when a strange man (he's been seen before and many of the other owners don't like him) came and then picked up and left about 3min later with his dog. After he left I spotted a few treats were on the ground by the entrance. I brought it to the attention of one of the owners who knows of him and he said "toss'em. I'm sure they're harmless but if it was that man who dropped them I wouldn't put it past him to do something like try to get our dogs sick."
