Wow we really did get a Blizzard *Photos*

We got a lot of snow, really really hard to measure since it blew around so much, but I would guess close to 30 inches. It was crazy and with a driving ban it means I had to stay home in the house with two antsy dogs until my boyfriend got some paths cleared around the yard. I finally was able to venture out this afternoon.

Here it is....

Waiting to go...

What they were looking at, that is a car under there....

Finally they get to go outside...

Back in the house, naptime....

My boyfriend spent all day outside doing snow removal and finally came home after helping all the neighbors and clearing snow at the bar and he was dead tired. The dogs on the other hand spent time outside playing, but look where he found them when he went to finally lie down. lol These dogs have a rough life. lol

Thanks! I was a wee bit scared I started to walk them down the street and they got ahead of me and I dropped the leash. Luckily Bailee listens and stopped and waited for me to catch up, I think Kymber would be in another time zone by now if it were left to her. lol

I moved from New England to Florida over a decade ago to get away from the snow. I am very happy with my decision.

But... for a split second, I do wish Cassie could get a chance to romp around in the snow. I know she would love it.

Instead, she'll just have to settle for swimming. I don't think she'll mind.

I think swimming right about sounds like fun, I love to swim and adore the water. I can't wait until summer so I can go back in the pool, it will be fun to take the dogs in for the first time. I love the snow also, like the first and second storm but after that I want spring. New England weather is something alright.

Thanks and yes it is a lot of snow, they finally lifted the driving restriction so hopefully the dog park tomorrow will be fun and they can really run around. My girls love to wrestle with each other but with no one else, they are so submissive with other dogs. My camera is a Nikon D5000 DSLR, it is my favorite toy.
