Right now I think I'd ask Sage how much longer she thinks she is going to be in the bitey bitey stage. But also why she thinks rocks are so fascinating and what she thinks about me...wait maybe I don't want to know the answer to that question...lol

I would have to make a pillow fort with sheets and cushions in the living room and curl up inside and whisper our secrets to each other. What's your favorite smell? Do you see neon colors better? Why do you love me so unconditionally? Are you happy? Do you miss your mom? What should i be doing better? Why don't you like getting vermin? Why only warm water? Don't be scared of the waves. I'll always protect you.... The list could go on and on until the end of time.

If Jess could talk we would have a serious conversation about the danger of scarfing down everything that smells good and ask him why he is constantly trying to source out another food supply when he is certainly fed quite well here at home.

Wouldn't it be great...why do you have to circle 15 times to find just the right spot and then decide we need to go somewhere else? What was it that you smelled there a coyote, a bobcat, a mt lion, maybe a raccoon? What's under the deck? What was that you were so incessantly barking at this morning at 2:00am? What is it about that other dog you don't like?

And when they're down or sick wouldn't it be nice to be able to ask where does it hurt and what can I do to make it feel better?

How about...why is Emma's toy so much better than yours, I mean they are the same darn thing and I let you choose which one you wanted before Emma got hers.

Why do you chase your tail as if you just discovered it. It's the same tail you chased 10 minutes ago.

Are you happy? What makes you sad? Do dogs butts really smell good or is that just a courtesy sniff you are giving...IDK...I've always wondered why the butt, I mean seriously does dog poo smell different from one butt to another....

If dogs could talk I would ask Jasper if he was happy and that we provided him with everything that he needed, are we good enough for him and his needs. I would also tell him that he doesnt need to bark at everything he hears, we dont live in the ghetto so there is nothing to worry about! lol.
I would ask Poppy why she has to hunt out every disgusting thing to eat on a walk when she is well fed at home, and ask her if she does understand everything I saw to her like it looks like she does.

And I would tell them both that I love them dearly and will always protect them and look after them!
