| I've had Bella out on a few 2 mile walks in those conditions over the past few days, and it doesn't seem to bother her. Yesterday morning, it was -36 below windchill. We cut that one to a mile. |

| We have still been doing walks or play time outside. It doesn't seem to phase Sage at all. We just don't go for as long of walks as we were, or spend as much time outside as we were. I think it's wise to be careful, but I also think it's ok to exercise as long as you are paying attention to whether or not they are getting cold or not. I personally think Sage can handle it better than me!!!! |

| It's similar here in Toronto. Sydney doesn't seem to care at all! I care though - my rule is I stay out with her until I can't feel my cheeks/ears. So far that's about 30 mins on average. So two 30 min walks/playtime per day + inside playtime for now. I keep telling her summer will return soon.

| Awful I feel your pain! It was 1 degree in Chicago today and I believe the windchill is 25 below, also. Was just in the yard with Tucker and Tonka, not for LONG, believe me!!

| My theory is if Yorkies are okay in an Alaskan winter to go outside to potty and have fun than a Golden is fine in the cold to play

| Hank loves the cold, here in Ohio it was in the single digets last night/this morning, not as cold has Wisconsin but Hank went out as normal. Right now it's 6F windchill and he's out playing in the yard. As long as they're dry, moving, not ill, elderly or very young, I wouldn't worry. |

| Sounds good. Starting tomorrow she should have her walks back then! As long as it is above 0 degrees I will go for at least a short one but when there are negative 20 windchills that isn't good for us to even be out in! ![]() Thanks for the input!

| I worry more about the salt on the roads in winter than the temperature. Cookie and I do curtail our walk in extreme temperatures and if she seems uncomfortable then I don't force it, but we do go just about every day. The walks are supposed to be fun for both of us. |
