That's a great place to buy antlers! I hadn't seen the kennel chunks before.

Once I happened to be in an Orvis store, and they were selling these tiny antlers for $40 each. But, they also sell $200 flannel shirts, so I don't know why I was surprised.

I found antlers via The Daily Coyote blog a few years ago. Since she was out of stock she referred me to the Antler Pantry on Esty. I got two orders from her but then I stumbled upon a taxidermist in middle of nowhere Washington who sold antlers in bulk. I did a big order from her and even though it snowed like crazy, they still were here for Christmas, even though I ordered them the Wednesday before. I find that my dogs enjoy the split antlers more, but they also annihilate them too quickly. So now they have to deal with whole antlers.

Here is the shop: Furries Leather and Fur Shoppe by Furries on Etsy

This is $83 worth of chewing goodness:

Chester loves antlers but I haven't seen any chunks for sale over here, just whole or cut long ones. The only thing is when he gets to the marrow he fills the house with dreadful gasses! I may be scared at how much he may expel with all that easily acceptable marrow in the chunks!!

They can't ship antlers internationally because of US export laws. From what I've gathered nothing wildlife can be shipped out unless you killed it yourself.

I really like Michigan Antler Art. I've been purchasing from them for a couple of years now. I placed an order early in December that somehow slipped through the cracks. My husband called them and spoke with the owner, whose name slips my mind right now. He researched it and then called us back within and hour and apologized profusely.

He sent out a replacement package the next day and it arrived two days later. To make up for overlooking our order, he gave us double what our order was. He also included a personal note apologizing. Now that's customer service!

I decided to give the Jumbo Kennel Chunks a try. I went with the medium core, because I think she's likely to chew on them more often if she feels like she's accomplishing something. She's been working on these for 3 hours now.

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Michigan Antler Art. I placed the order last Thursday evening, and received the package today.

The images below contain 2 lbs. of antler chunks for $29.95 with free shipping. The pictures don't do it justice. The pieces are huge. I suspect you'd need at least $75 at Petco for the same thing.

@nairb....we order from Michigan Antler Art, as well. We just got the Jumbo Thin Chunks......1/2 - 3/4 in thick slices off of the bottom of antler. I have ordered the split antlers before, but Amber managed to bite off little spiky, pieces from the antler itself (not marrow). Please let me know if your pups are able to get the marrow, but not able to bite off little, spiky pieces from the hard antler itself. The vendor told me not to buy anymore split antlers for her. These look amazing! Vicki
