| Wow Cathy, how horrifying. Ice is a scary nightmare, so glad everything is ok. I always worry about letting Parker off leash anywhere because even though he has a great recall I'm scared he'd see something just too tempting. Thank goodness all ended well....bad Honey bad!

Yes, we were very lucky. She may be wearing a long leash the next time we go to the park AND we will stay away from that side of the park. There was a snow fence along the edge of the hill but two panels were down on the ground packed down with snow. My two just walked over the fence.....

| So glad this worked out the way it did, it could have been far much worse. I know your heart was in your throught. Hope Honey's scratches heal up quickly, she probably has no idea what all the fuss is about, she was just trying to have a little fun. Just think what might could happen if a child walked over the fence...... |

| Thank goodness she got out okay and was relatively unhurt. Don't beat yourself up for not catching the scratches and bruises sooner. These Goldens of ours are SO good at hiding pain. My heart would have been pounding out of my chest - I bet yours was, too. Extra hugs to Honey - and a few to Gunner, too, just because.
