| That's happened when I have been walking my puppy Loki .....St Bernard did not sound as if he wanted to play & it was a big corner section & that dog covered every inch of it behind the fence as we walked passed. We also have two German Shepherds, a big black Lab, an Akita, a Rotteweiler & two Dobbermans to negotiate.....& non of them look or sound friendly. The black Lab is the worst. He will jump so high it looks as if he's about to come right over the fence, snarling & barking. I now walk on the other side as Loki got so frightened, he refused to go for walks at all. Now I go on a carefully-planned walk with just three unseen dogs barking through fences at us. People appear to be leaving these big dogs outside all day whilst they are at work, & I never see any of them being walked. I imagine they have no training so would pull like crazy on their leads so only exercise they get is in their own gardens on their own. No wonder they look so ferocious as we walk around the neighbourhood. I now prefer an hour romping in the park, even though it means a short car drive to get there. |
