We've got plenty of snow out this way...definitely a White Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.

We got about an inch of snow on the 23rd. It's still on the ground. Just enough for a white Christmas..

It's still dark out here, 6:00am, I'll try and get some when the sun comes up. Maybe I can catch one of Santa if I'm really careful...

Merry Christmas Carolina Mom...enjoy that walk on the beach...I'll be thinking about you as I'm shoveling the snow off my deck.

Pete

We have lots of snow. More than we had all last winter! Yesterday was a blizzard and I had to drive 2 hours in it to pick up my daughter in Salt Lake City. Went through a couple of white outs and then on the way home at 5:00 p.m. the motor went out on my windshield wipers!! Took the first exit and tried to find a car dealership or rental car place. Nothing was open of course since it was Christmas eve. Finally I saw an O'Reilly's auto parts store and asked them if they could help. They had a motor and one of the guys replaced it for me!!! I was so happy and thankful. It took him an hour and by then it had quit snowing. I am wondering if it broke for a reason. To get us off the road for an hour to avoid a wreck or something? The mountain pass we have to go over was snowy and icy but we made it home and I was exhausted! It's great to have my daughter home for a few days and hope my son can come home today. I just looked outside and there isn't a cloud in the sky!!
Merry Christmas everyone!
