We ended up with 2-3" inches of snow, maybe more, on the north side of Dallas.
We have a lot of trees on our lots, so we usually don't get as much on the ground as the neighbors. We have over 2 inches on the patio table though.

Our lakehouse is just over the border in Oklahoma - they have 6 inches of snow there. We are at the far end of of the road, requiring us to go uphill to get to the highway, followed by downhill to a long bridge over the lake. Glad we didn't do Christmas there.

One of my sons is supposed to drive from St Louis to Dallas today. I've been worrying about it for days. Hopefully he will wait a day or two.

We got a dusting ( 1/2 inch perhaps max), and I'm not impressed. Give me a 75 degree Christmas with lots of sun and I'm a VERY happy camper. Toby doesn't "do" snow, but Yogi does- must be his Yankee roots. We'll make him a snow phobic soon enough though .

Merry Christmas Carolina Mom...enjoy that walk on the beach...I'll be thinking about you as I'm shoveling the snow off my deck.

Great day here on the Coast yesterday, went over to the Island to the Beaches, saw a good size pod of dolphins swimming and jumping in the Atlantic-what a beautiful sight it was. As long as I've lived here, I never get tired of seeing Dolphins.

been snowing pretty steadily for the past couple of hours here. Turns out, Renny LOVES the snow! I just went out with him in the backyard and he started doing zoomies and making snow angels! It was so cute!

Yep, there's still a good 4-6 inches of snow up here even though it hasn't snowed for the last week or so.

Why hasn't it snowed? It's been too cold to snow.

We have a big snow storm on the way, should hit within the next couple of hours. Stocked up on food and candles, we're ready for it.

I'll be taking pics but likely to lose power (if the wind blows more than 5 mph we lose it ) so I'll post when possible.

Everyone stay safe ♥
