No snow in downtown Toronto - though I think there is some on the way tomorrow to the Greater Toronto Area... Having grown up in colder and very snowy Montreal, I am just fine with Toronto's milder, greener winters!

Just enough to make the ground white in spots briefly for Christmas morning. Take care with the slipping and sliding Pete, hope your back is doing well.

Hey Steve, Merry Christmas! I just left SM a Christmas message and asked if she'd heard from you lately...haven't seen you around. Backs doing pretty good...thanks for asking.

Pete

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.

Here in Phoenix if we get snow it would probably make national news! We do keep Bermuda grass out back but let it go dormant during winter and Nugget can still chase rabbits to his heart's content.

Anyway, happy holidays to all! Nugget and his family.

Back from my walk with Buzz...snow is almost gone. He didn't loose any of the tennis balls. We are to get more on Wednesday.

We received about 1 1/2 inches in the Dallas area. Just enough for the dogs to go crazy and the neighborhood kids to have a ball making Snow Angels. Hope the roads stay good so we can all safely drive in for work. But a rare and beautifully while Christmas Day for us.

We might get some flurries after midnight (which is why I am up so late, waiting for the rarely seen white stuff ). Yesterday I was gardening in short sleeves!
