ETA - Whoever's been praying for snow better STOP right now. We are getting slammed! It can snow after everyone gets home tonight (let's say around 3AM) and stop sometime tomorrow evening to give the snow plow guys time to get out there and clean it up for the morning commute. And then after everyone gets home on Weds, it can start snowing all the way through New Years - especially keeping those New Years alcoholic revelers safely home. Capiche?

Jack & Sweetie are getting a new pig toy,hot dog squeekie toys,giant rawhide bones & doggie Christmas cookies.Grammie & Grandad(My parents ) are coming over as always so I'm sure they will bring much more.A friend wanted Sweetie to attend a beginners class a petsmart with her dog so she got that too as a gift from them.No matter how much I fuss they'll get way too many treats from Grandad so there will be an extra long walk on the beach (might be good for me too)

Among other things Rose got a "cocaine treat". Since we had 14 people in the house out of which three were under the age of 3 her first present was the Purina Chewnola. She goes so crazy when she sees or smells the bag that it completely distracts her from what is going around. She went in the hallway with it and stayed there so nice while everyone opened the presents.

I had gotten Renny 2 Chuckit balls online a month ago. But, within a week he had actually broken BOTH of them! That's right, both of them split on their seam!

So, no more balls for Renny. But, his aunt (my sister) gave him a couple of cute gifts: a rubber birdie (that hard rubber) and a chew toy. And, I just ordered a winter coat for him, on sale on Amazon. I tried Lacey's winter coat on him, and it's too small around his chest. He has a hefty chest! 30 inches in diameter! He doesn't seem to mind the cold, although it's only been in the low 30s/upper 20s so far. He doesn't have a very thick coat of fur, being that he's a mix, so hoping the coat I bought him will be fine.

The dogs got 10 pounds of thin sliced chicken for later used to dehydrated . I got it on sale .

Buddy got a whole and a split anter. 3 canisters of tennis and racket balls. Raincoat and winter coat- Looks like colt sized horse blankets. Supplements. Giant bag of biscuits. New kibble flavor- Game bird and Surf n'Turf. Several collars for when he starts his therapy work to look good He says this Christmas was almost better than his first one with me last year when he was rescued.

The yorkies got new winter/snow coats. New handmade sweaters Irish knit pattern by my mom. Bully sticks. Mini split antlers. New fluffy toy/squeaky toys. New tug toys. Fleece fluffy blanket.

Cats new giant sized litterboxes. Fresh chicken and liver.

Tallulah- New flavor of FROMM Grain free Surf n' Turf-Kept stealing the dog's food . New harness with ID and bell for when she escapes the house- Also glows in the dark so I can find her when she sneaks out with the dogs.

Mika- Grace THK food. Raw Primal- Pheasant Nuggets. At 14 I have given up and just give her wet foods- Why fight her? Heating pad with several homemade fluffy fleece covers.

Chester got a stocking from Walmart which had

a stuffed snowman
a rubber ball
a squeaky bone
and another stuffed animal

everything from that stocking was destroyed within 5 minutes
he also got:
a bag of home made treats
3 bullysticks
a box of dog biscuits
a bag of pig ears
a stuffed reindeer

Like others, Cassie gets spoiled throughout the year, so nothing specific for Christmas.

However, I did recently get her a Bob-A-Lot that she LOVES, and she went to the groomers to get her hair and nails done on Friday. Oh, and I also had gotten her an antler, some treats, a nylabone, a kong, and some other assorted goodies.

For her, but really for me... I ordered a new pet gate from Sellout.Woot! today. And, I ordered a WebCam so that I can see what she's up to, and if she's behaving while I'm at work.

Someone mentioned the Kygen Hide-A-Squirrel... I have to say, Cassie LOVED hers. Although I had to actively watch her as she played with it. As soon as she got a squirrel out, I'd hold onto it so that she'd move onto the next squirrel. Eventually, she tore apart the tree bottom. Still have the squirrels. I think the trick in getting her to love finding the squirrels so much was I hid the squirrels in my laundry for a day so that they picked up my scent. Once they had that, she went nuts for 'em.
