| Doesn't like to be moved...growls/snaps Has anyone had a dog that would growl/snap at you if you tried to move them? For example, last night Ada was laying on her back across my husbands legs and he wanted to move her so that she was laying parallel to his legs in between his legs (she likes to cuddle like that). So he tried to scoop up her butt and turn her 90 degrees so they could cuddle like that and she snapped at him. Another instance where it would be nice to be able to move her is when she is on the bed and we need to scoot her over for one of us to have enough room. She'll also growl/snap then too. I'm not really sure what to do about this. Maybe we can try associating good things (treats) with us scooting her around a little? Has anyone fixed an issue like that before? |

If she's young and healthy, she may be getting a little sassy for her own good. Time to take away the privledge of being on the furniture and bed. |

I do think it's just sass (I love her, but she can definitely be a brat still), but wasn't sure if there was a way to work with her on not being so sassy! It's good to hear that Flora grew out of it. Maybe I just have to wait a bit longer . |

| I would take away letting her on furniture if she cannot be moved. I let my pup on the furniture, but sometimes he gets a burr up his bum (metaphorically) and will stand right outside arm length and bark, bark, bark. And whenever we try to correct it, he just bounces away like its a game. So he's told to get off the couch. As soon as he's down, he'll stop barking and lay down to chew on a bone. | The solution for right now is no couch or bed privileges. Only polite dogs get those.
