| Pets on Wheels We are doing it! We rented 2 15 passenger vans and are filling it with therapy pet teams. Going to Newtown, CT early Friday AM and will spend the day. I'm sorry there's a need but I am glad we can help.

| That is wonderful. You will have the loving spirit of GRF with you every step of the way. I only wish I could be there too.

| We are leaving Baltimore on Friday at 3AM with 22 therapy dogs, a therapy tortoise and 24 people. There will be 2 large vans and 4 cars. The community support has been overwhelming. People are donating beanie babies to give to any kids we see there. What an experience it has been and we haven't even left yet. It's all starting to seem real now and we are getting more emotional. We didn't expect it, but the media has taken an interest. Tomorrow AM, we have interviews with 3 TV stations and a local online publication. Friday isn't going to be easy, but it needs to be done. If anyone is in the area, please say hi.

| Wow. Yesterday was absolutely amazing. I can honestly say it was one of the most rewarding things we have ever done. On Thursday, we went to pick up the rental vans and were told dogs weren't allowed in the vans. This is after I confirmd that dogs were allowed and explained why we wanted to rent the vans. I called a local school bus company and was told their insurance just covered local trips (100 miles). The company owner called their insurance company and got extended coverage. Since it was such a long day, we needed two bus drivers. The owner handled everything and even donated the whole bus ride. We got to Sandy Hook at the Town Hall just in time for the bells to toll. What an experience. There are no words to describe it. After that, we went to the elementary, middle and high school and left volunteer teams at each school. We stayed at the schools until lunch time when the schools closed for the holidays. Lots of hugs and tears there. We then visited 2 fire stations and spent time with the first responders and then went to the memorials by Sandy Hook Elementary and the nearby river. Again, lots of hugs and tears. We went to the Intermediate school where counseling was offered but it was quiet there. They offered us dinner, so we relaxed a bit. They asked us to be at the candlelight vigil at 7pm, so we did. That was very moving. Again, lots of hugs and tears. At 8:30pm, we boarded the bus and headed back to Baltimore. It was an almost 24 hour trip but so worthwhile. I will never forget it.
