I looked at the blow up ones but they are pricey! And I had a pretty good suspicion Tucker would try to play with Bella and put a hole in it. I bought a different kind, but I may get to return it!

Meanwhile Tucker is sort of at a loss as to what to do. No one wants to play with him.

Pira didn't lick her incisions when we spayed her, but it was pretty hard to maintain her spirits in a good mood since all she wanted to do was to run, jump, play, all the things she was not supposed to. We kind of managed it without jumps, but sometimes we could see all her energy just exploding in outbursts of little runs that were really hard to prevent. hehehe Those were times with lots of mat training. : o D

Yeah...I'm planning on working on loose leash walking... Anything to tire her out a little bit...

Bella update

She pretty much was out of it all last evening, but didn't seem uncomfortable. Tucker didn't even try to play with her.

At bedtime, I fixed them both Kongs per usual, and Tucker went into his crate. Bella disappeared into my bedroom. When I went in there, she was curled into a tight ball on my bed with her eyes shut. She clearly wanted to sleep there... Being a softie, I let her. She's normally a very restless sleeper but I think because of the meds, she slept very hard. She got up once and I let her outside, and then she went straight back to sleep.

She woke up very perky but has been napping a lot. This evening she really wanted to play with Tucker--he did, too--so I separated them for a while. I suspect tomorrow the drugs will be completely out of her system, and I will have a hard time keeping her quiet. I hate to crate her but I may need to.

They have things like these: http://www.amazon.com/SnuggEase-Washable-Dog-Diaper-VALUE/dp/B001VN11JO/ref=pd_sim_sbs_petsupplies_7
I looked into it after Mav's neuter procedure, but decided against it and he was fine with a "comfy cone"
