For about a week now, when Summer has to go out to relieve herself, she will walk into the bathroom, turn around and stand in the doorway looking at me.

When I ask her what she wants, Summer will then walk to the back door and I'll let her out.

While I let her out by herself, I do keep an eye on her through a window just to make sure she is OK. I usually wait until Summer jumps up and looks in my living room window to let her in.
