Scruffy is very cute. We have a Cairn next door to us. (He is quite the little barker). It always amazes me when I see a golden with a smaller dog. They know they have to be gentle.

To me, I see yorkie (I have 7 of these little dickens). A Cairn Terriers head is more rounded, ear placement is different. I see Am. yorkie! If he follows my crew you will laugh at him every day. Mine walk the pastures with the goldens and two of them even like to swim short distances. They are excellent mouser's and everything is an adventure. Potty training is a trial, but can be done. Think you have found yourself a keeper for sure and bet he crawls into your heart very quickly.

My yorks and Kye/Coop get along so well together and amazingly the goldens seem to temper their play so not to step on them. Really works well in our household.

Know you are going to love having this little fellow in your home and can see he is already smiling and happy. You did a wonderful thing keeping this bundle of energy and he will make such a good kid for you and your family. Yea!

He is adorable whatever terrier he may be.. They all have an attitude which makes them able to hang with the big dogs. (They sometimes think they are big dogs) glad its working out. Sometimes some dogs are meant to be in our lives and our plans change.. Been there a few times now lol

When my husband and I were first married, we had two Yorkies, one lived to be 17 and the other to 16.5. They are very hearty little dogs and they difinitely think they are big dogs.

You're going to have lots of fun with him.

Just got back from the vet. Scruffy tested negative for heartworm, yay! I was so nervous sitting there waiting, but what a relief! I'm staring him on trifexis tonight.

I'm going to post videos and stories soon. I've been really busy with Christmas.
