Riley is turning 2 this upcoming march and I was wondering about his coat. He has great feathering on his tail and his chest is nice and furry but the rest of his coat seems thin and flat. I was curious as to when if ever he will get that full fluffy coat all over his body

Someone with more experience can probably answer you better but my guess is he doesn't need to grow the heavy coat because he lives in Florida. Sounds pretty though, any pics? we love pics

Tayla is a year old and you are describing her coat, but she is a red girl and typically has less coat. I won't say she is field bred because, while she comes from TN, she was adopted and I don't know anything about her parents and breeding other than the breeder is not listed anywhere so I'm assuming BYB. We did find out her name and address and I sent her a card this year asking about the parents. I don't know if she will email me but I'm interested in how they looked also.

This might sound silly but I was also curious as to whether dogs fur works like people hair where you have to trim it for it to grow longer. Does anyone know about that?
