| Sasha's Mum Sasha's Mum I would definitely have the vet look at them to be on the safe side. Are they a dark color? Could they be tics? Where do you live?

| Are they around the shoulder blade, one on each side? I just showed the vet two bumps on Brady, about pea size, on the shoulder blade. She said they were from his vaccinations earlier in the year and told me not to worry unless they got bigger.

| I'd have them checked ( not an emergency ) and the vet will probably just chart them and watch them. Brady had one for almost three years, pea size, but it had an "eye". We just watched it. Last month it went down flat, but the eye got bigger. The vet just squeezed it like a black head and all kinds of junk came out. It is now gone. It was a sebacous cyst.

| "Hard like a pea" is what Tesia's lump on her back was that was a spindle cell tumour. But she also has a hard pea on her forehead which feels a bit different, which is a benign sebaceous cyst. It is worth having the vet check and do a needle aspiration. It gives you peace of mind to know if they are benign - that way, if they grow, you don't need to worry. Tesia also has had a couple of lipomas (fatty deposits and a couple of wart-type things that are very different from the little hard peas).

| They could also be lipomas, cysts filled with fat cells and not harmful. If your vet does a needle aspirate, they will be able to tell you what the lumps are.
