 Andy’s 1 Year Victory Party and Celebration Thread!! OK, Everyone, let's put on our party hats and dancing shoes and celebrate Andy (and Danny's) 1 Year Victory over Lymphoma! Let's get this party started!!   For those of you just checking in, here is Andy's story: http://www.goldenretrieverforum.com/...-lymphoma.html (Please Pray For Andy - Lymphoma) On December 1,2011 Andy was diagnosed with lymphoma and Danny, his loyal and dedicated companion, joined this forum asking for our prayers and thoughts. The thread is a continuing testament to the love and special relationship Danny and Andy share and their journey touches many of us. Through it all Andy never misses a beat and teaches us to live each day with gusto and without regrets. Danny, thank you for sharing your journey with us. No doubt Andy's thread will help others facing this situation in the future. So, Andy and Danny, here's to both of you for fighting and beating the evil lymphoma and triumphing! | Andy and Danny, Toby and I will celebrate with you guys today by going over to a city wide party hosted by JC Penney for Dallas kids. As a special holiday treat for the community they are trucking in snow and making a *snow mountain* for the children to tube down since we rarely get snow. It promises to be a glorious almost 80 degree day here so it should be fun for all: snow, free hot cocoa, warm weather, lots of sun, tshirts and sandals! We'll enjoy the delightful sounds of children enjoying their day and we'll think of you two enjoying yours! |

| Happy Victory Day!! What an incredible milestone for Andy and Danny!! Thanks so much for fighting so hard and for giving so many, hope to fight for!! It has been an inspiration to watch both of you!! Andy has shown us that it is possible to beat the odds against the dragon. Not only have you allowed us to follow your journey, but you've educated so many and lent your support as other goldens face this diagnosis. We continue to hold you both in our prayers for more victories and sweet time to enjoy life together!

| Congratulations Andy and Danny! Many years ago my young (2 1/2 years old) golden lived 11 months post diagnosis, so I understand the importance and significance of this milestone. Cheers to all involved ! |
