| Our collie has been on Advantage Multi in the past.... I'd prefer that over Frontline any day. |

| Advantix repels before they bite.. I prefer that as frontline has been around forever and fleas/ticks have shown resistance to it. Watch this video.. YouTube

| We use Frontline plus. We tried Advantix, but the smell was really awful. Ben couldn't stand it. |

| I am in Texas and had a first time bad problem with ticks in my backyard. I don't take my furry kids on the trails because of rattlesnakes. The only thing that worked for me with both fleas/ticks was Advantix. I had used Frontline before and it didn't work this summer. Not sure if it isn't as water repellent as the other since my pups were in the water most weekends. But no more fleas or ticks in our group. Hope this helps.

| I use advantix (the vet advised it). The only problem I had with it was whn I spread it all over her back (as it says in the instructions) and she started to scratch and lick those spots so badly that she got sores!!! Now I only put it on the neck sholder area and it is fine! I guess she does not like the smell of it, she is not very happy when we put it on! But after one minute is ok |

Actually I think this would have happened no matter which one we would use! I think she doesn like the smell plus feeling "wet" |

| Every pet & area is different. Our last dog had tons of fleas while on Frontline so we don't use that. We started our puppy on Vectra 3D & I was finding more fleas than I feel I should. Both our previous dog & current puppy use Advantix & I've always been happy with it. The only downside is that it's toxic to cats so I have to keep our dog & cat separated for a day when we apply.
