So Molly has a TERRIBLE AKC name but I didn't care because I wasn't planning to do anything with her at the time.. well plans have definitely changed! I got the OK from her breeder to change her name and this forum is just so amazing when it comes to these things.. so please help me!

Her litter theme was "potion" so that must be in the name.. along with the kennel name of course. If possible I would like it to relate to her call name. I think the most obvious idea that comes to mind would be Harry Potter related (Molly Weasley).. another bit of info, "Molly" means "star of the sea" if that helps.. please help me! I am not creative at all!

I'm not good at this either, but when I looked at a thesaurus for "potion", several synonyms came up, including 'elixir' (cure all), 'libation' (gift), 'tincture' (coloring) and 'remedy' (cure or solution).

I also think of the word 'enchanted' when I think of potion. So how about...

"Kennel name's Enchanted Elixir Molly" or
"Kennel name's Golden Tincture of Molly"

Sorry, it's the best I could think of...

It's too embarrassing for me to even say it... Her breeder wanted me to have her name picked out by pickup day and it was hard enough trying to think of a call name. Between that and puppy proofing/getting ready for a puppy I just didn't have enough time.. And also I lack any kind of creativity.

Don't worry about connecting her call name, with a restrictive litter theme like "potion" (???) it's hard enough as it is.

I'm assuming Love Potion No. 9 is already taken?
