Sore paw, sad pup

Tucker has a sore paw. He's being treated for it, but he's just out of sorts. Doesn't want to put weight on it at all. Bella can't figure out why he's not playing with her. It's eerily quiet in this house when Tucker is too quiet--he's sort of the sunshine of our house! Hoping the medicine works and he's back in good form soon!

Aww poor Tucker, give his paw a little kiss from us. I hope it heals quickly! ♥

I think he's got an allergy of some sort. He's been licking it a lot. He saw the vet on Friday.

When I brought Bella home, it upset our schedules a bit. I stopped putting ACV in Tucker's food. I started up again, but too late to prevent this.

That stinks, poor Tucker. Glad you're getting it treated for him, guess his limping didn't get any better since last week...

Hope he makes a fast recovery! Maybe he got bit by a bug or something?

Hoping his paw pad (I assume the problem is there) heals in record time so he can go back to his regular programming of play, run, and enjoy life.

Andy's been recovering from a sore front paw too. X-rays didn't show a break. Black and blue on the spot in the middle of his pads. I think he stepped on a half walnut shell running after something in the back yard.

Anyway, our vet said to use the rubber bandage stuff (that sticks to itself), but not tightly. Just enough to keep his toes together for more support I added some cotton gauze on the bottom. A little more than a week later he's beginning to walk normally. Helped him out the first few days with a sling or beach towel under his chest.

Thought I'd pass that along and save you the $250 in x-rays and office visits if the info is helpful
