Sending healing wishes to Tucker. Toby just got over a sore paw episode. It's so hard on them and on us because we love them so much! I would have gladly suffered a sore foot if it spared Toby.

Tucker's doing better. He's putting some weight on his foot. Spent the last 24 hours in a cone. I took Bella and Tess to the dog park without him. He seemed very sad when we got back. But he seems happier today, so I think the medicine is working.

Update on the T Man

Tucker seems to be doing much better. He's been living in a cone because he starts licking his paw as soon as he is able (although today he seems better about that).

He went to the dog park starting three days ago, but not for long visits. He just needed to get out, and Bella badly needed exercise. When we get home, I've been putting him into the tub with six inches of warm water and Epsom salts. I keep him distracted with a treat here and there, and by brushing him. Right before it's time to get him out, I wash his paws with mild oatmeal shampoo. This all seems to be helping a lot, in combination with the meds. He actually seems to enjoy standing in the warm water. I guess because I'm fussing over him and he's getting treats!
