Or do you wake up to a cold nose in your face every morning? Woody's pretty good about letting me get my sleep but the minute I'm up he's up...he definitely doesn't want to miss out on anything...particularly BREAKFAST!!!

If I sleep too long Ty will pace and pant, can't mess with putting his breakfast off! The other 2 will just sleep until I get up. Ty has saved me from being late for work a few times though.

Nothing wrong about it during week days, but on the weekends when I would like to sleep in and she starts making all kind of noises to wake me up (with a barking "gran finale") at 6 am... Have you ever tried to explain you pup that you do not work Sat and Sund??????

After the morning ritual we both go back to sleep

Before I got Tesia, I loved sleeping in - as late as noon. And when I decided to get a dog, I figured that was the end of that.

HA!!

Tesia is the best sleeping-in dog ever. If I'm asleep, she's asleep.

My sweet, joyful, beloved heart.

Flora jumps onto my bed around 7am and nuzzles me for about 5 minutes before going to sleep at the foot of my bed. She'll sleep there until I wake up. She's the best!

Liza starts whining as soon as it gets light, or when her biological clock tells her it's breakfast time. So every day around 5.30, 6.00. But on the upside: when she has done everything that is important in the morning, she is fine about going back to sleep. So in the weekend it takes me about 20 minutes to get her settled again. Tess can sleep in, but when she hears Liza, she wants her breakfast, too. Then she wants to sleep again. They don't get fat when they sleep with full tummies!

I thought that when I got Cookie I'd have to be up at the crack of dawn with her. She turned out to be the exact opposite - I get up and showered while she is still curled up in bed, then we head downstairs and she jumps in my lap on the couch while I have a cup of coffee. After that, she's ready to eat and begin her day and see her brother and sister off to the bus.

Sigh. Sydney MUST go to the park FIRST thing in the AM - which is basically whenever it's sunny outside, or about 7am. All she wants to do is go outside for a pee/poo/walk/play.

After that, she'll eat breakfast and go back to bed. But by then, I'm basically awake.

Sometimes on the weekends, I drag myself out of bed, let her outside to pee (she will NOT poo on our property...) and feed her breakfast, then go back to bed until about 9 before taking her to the park for a poop/walk.

Gabe likes to sleep in. If I sleep too late (which usually doesn't happen cause my hubby is an EARLY BIRD) he will stare at me and make the softest gentle little whimper......I'm all his then. Gotta love someone that loves you....
