During the week I get up at 4:30am and the dogs get up the minute I move! During the weekend they do let me sleep in, until at least 5:30!!! I'm usually able to take a nap at least day on a normal weekend!

Yuki's good about letting me sleep in. When he was a younger puppy, he'd wake me up around 7AM wanting to eat and go outside, but now that he's older (10 months) I can just say "Go on, go back to sleep" and he'll lay back down until I'm ready to get up, around 8:30 or so. He doesn't seem to be interested in breakfast or need to go outside until late morning these days. But then again, I don't go to bed until quite late.

HOWEVER, Emmy sleeps in the bed and spite of her OFA good hips, she will paw at me to help her into the bed. Her mom, Tiki, nudges me until I help her into bed. Sooo, I have two who sleep at my feet....

That's funny, Sydney's mom, Yuki won't go poo on our property either! That means that I need to be out with him on our morning walk by around 10 or 11 in the morning. Not really an issue yet, but when it's icy and snowy outside this winter I think it will be. I'm going to have to at least get him around the block no matter what the weather, or he won't poo at all!

Hmmm...sounds like a dog I know. If Cookie ends up on the floor during the night, she walks over to my side of the bed and stares at me until I pat the bed and she jumps up. She's too polite sometimes.

Hank stares. I don't usually sleep in past 8am but if I do I can expect to wake up with Hank's nose resting on the edge of the bed just stareing.

Our Mercy most nights barks to be let out of her crate at 6:30 most mornings. We tried confining her to the dining room but she grabbed a hold of a couple of things she shouldn't have, so back in the crate she went. Sure enough this morning her bark woke us up this morning at 6:30. *Sigh!*
