First off - thank you ALL for your positive thoughts and support. I just read all your messages from yesterday. I got home from work late last night and just wasn't up to posting.

But I DID get the test results - and it is mostly good. (You guys and your positive thoughts came through again!).

The big growth under her leg (that is actually outside her abdomen) is a cystic tumour - and totally benign. No malignancy. (I almost cried on the phone when I heard that).

One of the small growths attached to the big one was mostly blood - non-diagnostic is how it was termed.

The other one was "distinctly benign."

Strangely enough, the small, hard bump on her back, which is what took us to the vet in the first place, IS something. It's a plasmacytoma - but it is grade one, and they believe that once it is removed, it will not cause anymore problems.

So - Tee has to have surgery this Friday. They want to remove all of the growths and they will all be sent for full histopathology to make sure the aspiration findings were accurate. It scares me that she will have to be under a general anesthetic, but she will have a full blood workup done first, and if anything raises concerns, she will not be put under. The bump on her back could be done under local, but the location and size of the ones under her leg makes it a little bit more difficult. My vet said she will be under for 35-40 minutes. She will go in first thing in the morning, and I'll be able to pick her up late afternoon. Thankfully, I am off work Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon, and they were able to take her on Friday, so I will be able to be with her for her first few days of recovery.

I am relieved to know what we're dealing with - and SO relieved that huge growth is benign. I hate that she needs to be put under, and I know Friday will be a long day. If I could ask for just a few more positive thoughts from you all?

It means so much having you all here. Thank you. I know you all understand. For now, Tee is her happy, energetic, fun-loving self. I'm just going to be happy and upbeat - and not let on to her that anything is wrong.

Good to hear the good news after all the worry when you discouvered those lumps.

Wishing you and that sweet girl a lot of courage this Friday and a fast recouvery afterwards.

I can't even tell you how relieved and excited I am for you and Tesia and all of this good news.

If they do the bloodwork before the surgery and feel she is fine to face surgery, she will be fine. We will all be praying and will be here for you during her recovery.

So glad it was GOOD NEWS!! Give her some big KISSES for me!

Happy to see a good update! I did not mention it before but any lumps on the back I have removed. The reason being our Goldens love to roll on their backs and they can break open over time, been there.

Positive thoughts for Tesia.
