Best of Luck! We let Amber run outside at home for awhile before her class. It really helped. Best of luck to you both! Vicki

well, that was ugly...hahaha ![]() There must be 14 dogs in that class..........yikes. And Bridget was her usual self...full of spit and vinegar, biting the leash, and barking...which she usually doesn't do....and "Bubbling" (that's what I call that low growly noise) and rolling on her back, and crawling her way to the dog next to us..... ![]() But we missed December classes, she just needs to get back in the swing of things. I hope. ![]() But the good news is....I think I lost a pound.

I really enjoyed taking the CGC classes with Cookie. Knowing that the test was looming out there really inspired me to get out and do extra training. I'm the type that works better with a deadline. You can do it too! |

Well, I can see Miss Congeniality, (Bridget) is going to have a difficult time with the greeting someone who has a dog....... She sees every dog as a conquest to play, while she whispers..."They love me, they love me"

I remember early classes so well. Now, five years later, we still go to obedience classes. And the reason? He has so much fun. He has settled but the excitement and happiness is still very evident.

Amber did not pass her STAR puppy test due to Excessive Greeting Disorder (EGD) . She passed her AKC CGC after two classes and two attempts. She almost blew it on the Greet a Stranger (?), but did pass. My husband spent alot of evenings out in front of Big Box stores and at the park trying to let her greet new people. She did much better with the ones not using their "squeaky" voices. Best of luck to you and Bridget (my first dog, Irish setter, was named Bridget). Vicki

LOL - Rose mumbles a lot too when she is looking out the window from my bed or at the front door. I never thought of "bubbling". Every dog that passes by she mumbles to them as if telling them: "Don't pee or stand on my lawn, mumble mumble mumble" Still not quite sure what the rest means. If they do pee she starts barking "Haw dare you! I warned you!"
