Amber is our 18 mo. old GR girl. If any of you have seen my posts, you will know that she was/is quite a handful. She has been through consistent training, but never quite got rid of the Excessive Greeting Disorder (EGD)

. She is finally growing up. We had her at an Open House at the Training Center when she trains and her lil sis Piper (Papillon) train in Agility. Amber started out bouncy, but quickly settled down. The more folks and dogs, around 25 dogs, that came in the better she settled and lay down on the floor. Additionally, my whole family came over yesterday, including the 6 adults and 4 grand kids. Amber LOVES kids of every shape and size. She is the most gentle with kids. We were able, FOR THE FIRST TIME, to let her off lead after the first 10 minutes. She greeted everyone, but kept her bottom on the ground. Only once did I need to reprimand when she tried to sit in my son's lap her first time meeting him.
Bottom line message: For all of you that think that the end is not in sight for them to CALM DOWN, I can assure you that it can and will happen.
