Yes. One of the volunteers told me not to go into the ring with her gentle leader - even though I wouldn't have run her in it, obviously - or the flat buckle collar since a tiny part was hanging down.

Club this afternoon and instructing this evening , don't know how many will come with the weather being what it is but roads were ok this morning.

I found some Fenzi dog sports classes I want to take.

Impulse Control for all Dog Sports, Bridging the Gap (both starting in February), and Confidence Building for the Obedience and Rally Ring (starting in April, I think it could help with agility too).

Nugget had his last training before Thurs.trial and he wasn't too shabby today doing a very clean open run thru and not too bad in utility either, pretty pleased with some things could have been done a little brisker but he worked at Nuggets normal pace . Hombre only did open exercises fronts fronts fronts I just hate the constant repetition doing these till my dogs learn to front straight. He is a work in progress and I do see improvements slow but sure. I've decided to enter Hombre in the 3 trials being held at SCKC in Jan. just too close to not go with my youngster Nugget is already entered.

Almost got my butt rolling in time for a good training session not quite since my workout was a longer one (50 minutes)

But we did do pivot work

Faelan loved coming out of the cone and did really well.

Towhee either forgot pivot work or was in an un-uh mood...I figure she honestly forgot since it has been awhile..back to kindergarten for her.

Brady did great.

Aedan did great

Consistent speed in Penny's weaves this morning, very lovely.

My classmates are helping me in class by standing in the ring when I run Penny. She ran up to them every sequence. I need to be patient with her and keep working on the visiting issue. I know I can get her to stop if we keep practicing.

I have my eye on a couple training opportunities.

January 15th - CPE practice trial - bar setters and a judge will be in the ring, treats and toys allowed in the ring. Five different classes total for a true mock trial. Perfect for Penny. This only costs $40.

January 27th - a "B" Match at an AKC trial before the real trial - I think this is a fancy word for a mock trial. Only toys allowed in the ring.

Outside of this, an agility club a half-hour away from me holds run-throughs every Tuesday and Thursday. $10 for the run-throughs - not bad. If I like this place, I'll join as a member since it's $65 to join and then run-throughs are free...really good deal.

Thud morning was fronts on the platform & heeling with Bozo, both as the inside post and the outside post.

Towhee has come into season, so I will be heading up to Sunfire after work, if would have been more convenient to bring her up at lunch (40 miles closer) but it is chilly today so she is better off at home in her crate...good news is she should be my Christmas present when she us ready to come home

Bad news is Brady will again miss his class, agility tonight.

Now I can start looking at trials for her Utility debut

Nugget earned another UDX leg with a 193 and a fourth place go outs again cost 4 points arcing to the left on each the rest was nice. Open he got a 195 and third place . I didn't like his first two fronts and one finish so I did a little ring training cause I didn't care about the points as I figured we were already out of contention for OTCH points. The judge was generous giving us the 195 because I would have scored us with a 192. Anyway 21 OM points were garnished and another UDX leg. Yesterday I sent entry in for HOMBRE IN UTILITY these shows will,be his first showing in utility but all 3 trials are on one weekend in my neighborhood only 41/2 miles from home in early Jan.

Congrats on the UDX leg Nuggetsdad!

No training today, I'm too tired from getting ready for finals.
