| Merry Christmas Sharon<: Wednesday instructor is having open floor training and rings set up on Sunday and Monday next week. I'm vaguely planning on taking both boys out to do a little training. With Jacks it would be Open work (jumps, etc) - and I'm hoping there will be other people there to do stays with. With Bertie I'm just going to keep it fun and SHORT. I was thinking about bringing a crate and seeing how both boys do. Jacks (at home) will not bark when he's in the crate. He goes in and immediately lies down and waits for treats. Bertie on the other hand has discovered his bark when it comes to sitting in the crate and watching me train Jacks. |

| I have not trained, since it snowed here, so it has been a few weeks. I am looking forward to agility class starting back up after the new year.

Started to try to get Nugget to take dumbbell , he isn't to wild about it but ill try the nice guy way for a while if he just won't take and hold i know he will with ear pinch. | I brought Flip training yesterday, but I wasn't feeling well, so by the time I got done training open with him I was done and didn't even do any utility training. I packed up and went home for a two hour nap. I brought Conner with me too, I worked him first. He was so excited. I entered him in one day of graduate novice next month, so I did a run through of that with him. I forgot what it's like to have a 70 pound dog hurdling towards you in excitement. I couldn't get him to go into his crate, I had to shove him in backward, and he ran out twice before I could get it zipped up. That's my UDX dog for you!

| I am actually training my dogs to stay out of the kitchen. I was teaching Filly how to skateboard, but have been crazy busy lately, that I have had very little time for dog stuff. Currently we are painting our livingroom, and dining room. I didn't get my stick in ground weaves picked up before the weather got cold, and 4 of them ended up getting broken. I am assuming the dogs rammed into them, and busted them. I will be getting a new set of nice weaves in a few months though, so it is not that huge of a deal.

| I have a set of 6 straight weaves coming my way as a Christmas gift from my husband!! I am very excited! I will buy myself the other 6 in a few months. Old man Hank got a turkey neck, and Filly and Rivet got a Tuffy's toy scorpion, though Rivet much prefered the wrapping paper to retrieve, and carry around.

| Haven't done much training (other than house manners) this week, but I did enjoy taking the dogs to the dog park by my house Christmas day. I don't normally do dog parks, but there's never any other dogs at this one, so we get it all to ourselves. There's three different fenced off areas, with gates connecting them all together, so I opened up all the inside gates and let the dogs have total run of the place. Flip especially enjoyed the giant mud puddle he found to roll in. My plan was to stay until Flip wore himself out, but by the time my older two were barely able to maintain a trot, Flip was still tearing across the park. It's always fun to see the dogs enjoying themselves
