| Yesterday I made the 3 1/2 hour trek to go train with a friend. Long drive but worth it, we both have high energy goldens that love to work, so the over three hours we worked flew by. Friday I'll be taking Flip to the local agility trial so we can do some training on dirt. Saturday we're driving to a building to train.

| Oh yeah, I forgot to add, I was very proud of Flip yesterday. Before we started working the dogs we spread popcorn all over the training floor. And Flip never did eat a piece, the whole time he was out on the floor . You could see him very purposefully avoiding it.

| Today I will work on agility at home. Monday I am heading an hour or so north of here with some agility friends to do agility run thrus. Tuesday I have not yet decided yet. It is the only day this week I do not have stuff going on. Wed, and Thurs are agility at home days. Friday-Saturday I have not yet decided. I think I may drive down to the club, and train there 1 of the days.

| I got a picture of Jonah with his ribbons from 2 weeks ago. The pictures turned out so cute. We are fine tuning broadjump and retrieves this week with a little heeling and fronts. He had a perfect front for me this past Sat. with a beautiful finish.

| Training yesterday went very well. We trained inside at the club and all 4 dogs came along. I think I have figured out that if my brother is home, that is when Casey chooses to stay at home – ever hopeful that a hike or cooking spree may occur; in our house, anything that falls to the floor is fair game and the dogs often get to have hand-outs as well. Faelan: Heeling, signals, go-outs, directed jumping, moving stand for exam, directed retrieve, figure 8, heeling transitions, ring entrances, ROF and just goofing around with toys. Oh and scent articles. Towhee: Heeling, transitions (her fasts were off), directed jumping, stand for exam, downs at my side (probably 20 or so), retrieving, tugging, playing, figure 8, fronts , a few finishes, smack-da-baby, ring entrances Brady: Sit, downs, get-it get-it get-it come, baby heeling, recalls with running through my legs for a treat, weaving around my legs, downward facing dog stretch position, shadow handling for front crosses, crate games. Tugging is on hold due to teething. Casey: Heeling, directed jumping, go-outs, fronts, finishes, retrieve on flat, recalls, playing Anyway, today is a rough day for me. Many sadnesses and passings not just on this board but among friends and family, so since this is Thanksgiving Week, today I give thanks that I am able to train my dogs, wake up with them all licking my face and wagging their tails so hard the bed shakes and surely the neighbors must hear the thumping or tails against the walls. I am thankful that Casey, Faelan, Towhee and Brady all share in my life and am thankful to all the dogs who have walked beside me but who now have silent footsteps.
