Our lady friend from the nursing home finally passed away. She held on for over 6 months after they said she was going to die. I went to see her at the funeral home and this is the note I received back from the family. I hope you can read this...
That brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing it. I hope to make Bentley a therapy dog if he has what it takes. Give Gunner and Honey belly rubs from us for being such wonderful dogs, and thank you for sharing them with the world.
Therapy dogs (and the people that help them do their thing) are so amazingly awesome! We even have a dentist in our area who's got a therapy dog... if he wasn't so far away, we'd be with him instead of our other dentist.
Thank you for taking so much time to do what you do!
What an absolutely beautiful note of gratitude from the family of the sweet lady!
May she rest in peace! You, Gunner and Honey sure do spread the sunshine!
Thank you for what you do!
That was so touching...I can only imagine myself in a situation like that and how much I would look forward to a kind person taking the time to share their dogs with me. That is a wonderfull thing you, Gunner, Honey, and all the therapy dogs and humans do. Give those babies a hug for me..
Cathy, that was a beautiful and heartfelt acknowledgement of the wonderful things your pups do for such vulnerable people. Thank you for sharing and reminding us what wonderful services our breed can offer with training and dedication from their owners.
