I am alway hot at work, too but I don't have a fur coat like him. But he worked right through it. Went outside to the porch area twice for 10 min. to cool down.

Congratulations to you and Buddy! Was his first visit at a nursing home? We just did an orientation last night, and in Kea's questionnaire was the question, "Do you ever hug or kiss your dog, and if so, how does your dog react?". Ha. Haha. 100 times a day would probably be an underestimate.

They call it an "assisted living" but almost no one has a private room. To me it is a nursing home.

Buddy loved it! Everyone was very offended that he did not give kisses- Just smiles and paws from him. He doesn't even kiss me!

Looks like Buddy and I must find more than 1 place to visit to achieve our 50 visits in 1 year goal. I knew we would have to find at least 1 more place but no one is getting back to me. The flu has hit the place I took Buddy to last week and we can't return to everyone is symptom-free for 2 weeks- GRRR!

I just hope they all feel better really soon! No one likes being sick.

I wish this Flu as well as GI bugs would go away soon.

Oh that's terrible! Are there any assisted living places near you? I'm going to check out a few more places too but I hope the flu just stays away!

What people call Assisted Living are often glorified nursing homes around here. I have left 25 messages at different places and no callbacks other than the 1 we already went too. We will keep looking and try to stay postive.

The Flu and GI bug have been terrible out in my area. I work on an orthopedic unit but we are full of the Flu and GI bug 1 of the hospitals by me actually had to put up a "Flu" tent outside- Looks like a MASH episode.
