Well, it has been a lot of work to get this sweet adorable 1 1/2 year old pup trained and tested to become a therapy dog, but we did it, and she is awesome! She is not afraid of any type of medical equipment at all, and goes straight for the people and just stands there. Luna finished the final visit last night, and passed. So I sent in her paper work, and she will be a therapy dog with Therapy Dogs Inc.!

It is bitter sweet for me, because for 5 years my sweet 9 year old, Penny has been my therapy dog. As many of you know, Penny has been battling cancer for 3 1/2 years, so she has been in and out of therapy work. She hasn't been able to tackle most of the places we go to, so my hope is for Luna to take those over. I hope that Penny will be able to visit a small local assisted living facility here and there and that's it.

Goldens really are the BEST, and I am proud that both my girls are therapy dogs and have and will make a difference in others life's.
