Therapy visit tomorrow

BaWaaJige and I have a hard time going with some of the others that have gone through the programme. Most visits are set up for tuesdays and thursdays days I have commitents already. But this wednesday afternoon there is one and only one person was signed up to go so BaWaaJige and I leaped at the chance to get in there. We are going to an Assisted Living home. It sould be loads of fun and I know Jige is going to soak up all that attention.

That sounds wonderful! He will have a great time and so will the people he visits! Do you do tricks with him?

Sounds great. I'm sure folks will be happy just to see him and have a chance to pet him.

I know we will have lots of fun. No Jige doesnt do any tricks and I dont want to do any with him as then he gets a little too excited and he could hurt some one. He is still very young at 19mo(today). In the summer I have taken outside and we toss the bumper the guys like it.

In the hospitals where I go Tess isn't even encouraged to wag her tail...from the moment we started (I think she was your boy's age) I have folded her tail under her. Now she does it automatically in the rooms. Not so much in the corridors, when she greets nurses and doctors, though!

Yes I know what you mean. I perfer that Jige is sedate when we go in. I would hate if he got excited and hurt someone. I take him and work him before we go so he is tired.

Funny, but even as wound up as Tucker can get sometimes, the moment we step into a facility, a switch goes off. He knows what is appropriate to do. I suspect Jige will know exactly how to behave as well. Tucker is so funny after the visit. That is when I usually become the recipient of the stored up energy! Roo, roos, wildly wagging tail, kisses, etc.
