I'm new at this and hopefully I'm doing this correctly. I'm really enjoying reading all of the posts it's both educating as well as a panacea for golden addicts.

I was wondering if anyone has a dog out of White Dove-Taul Diamond Gem. I understand that she is no longer breeding and I would be curious to know if anyone has one of her pups and whether or not they are doing any breeding.

I am lucky enough to have one of her pups and he has been moderately successful in the obedience/agility/Rally arenas - I would also like to know if anyone else with one of her pups has had successes in the show arena.

You can also look up your dog's littermates on the AKC web site http://www.akc.org/shop/index.cfm?nav_area=online_store - scroll down to "dogs lookup" (it's under "free online services"), type in your dog's AKC registration number and then change the last two digits to find the other dogs.

Given the lack of titled dogs in her pedigree and especially with that infamous White Dove name (you can do a search to find previous discussions of them), I wouldn't expect to find any reputable breeders breeding one of her offspring. Please don't think I'm judging you or your dog in any way, because I'm sure your dog is wonderful. My own dog comes from absolutely horrible lines, as in his sire's breeder has supposedly been convicted of animal abuse and suspended from the AKC. I know I would give anything to have another dog like my Dusty even if there was proof they were all felons, but the bottom line is that I got really really lucky, and it sounds like you did too. I don't know if you're looking for another dog or if you're just curious, but if you are looking for another dog I would look elsewhere. You really are VERY lucky to have a dog from those lines that is healthy and stable, and I wish you continued success in obedience and agility!

I have female from one of her litters Diamond Gem and Sir Drake. Born in April, 2007. As far as I know my girl was from Colleen's last litter. And I think Diamond Gem went to a breeder in Texas. We don't show or breed our dog. That said, she's a WONDERFUL dog. She's loved just as much by everyone that meets her as she loves them. She's tolerated so much from my sons over the years. From having her hair pulled by my then 2 year old to being dressed up, etc. Even my mom, who didn't want me to get a dog LOVES her. Best dog ever!
