As some of you have read. We have been on the road with Mia for several weeks. She has been doing very well in the ring this Year. She has gone best in breed, best of opp, and select over some very nice dogs recently.

However a couple of weeks ago She went Best of opp at the Inland Empire Golden retriever Club show over some very very nice dogs. That ring was a sea of beautiful dogs!! All of them deserving.

Then Went Best of Breed on Monday at the Coeur D' Alene Idaho show. She went on to take a group 2!! The Sporting group is so very competitive Such beautiful dogs once again all of them deserving. What a wonderful weekend, it was!!

I have not posted here in a while, Mia (GCH Whiskey Creeks look but don't tough RN, BN, CD TDI, CGC) has had an excellent year in the conformation and obedience rings. This year she finished her RN, BN, CD she also got her CGC and her therapy dog Credentials.

In the show ring she has continued to do very well with the highlight being two group two placements and a group one and two BOSS (best opp sex specialty). We are so proud of this girl it is going to be sad not having her with me every weekend as we are semi retiring her at the end of this year.

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.
