acupuncture update

We've now had 3 sessions. Our fourth one is tomorrow.
I have to admit I'm stunned at the difference in him. Even my husband, who is a non-believer, can't dispute the improvement.
Yesterday's session was another "aquapuncture" with her injecting trameel into the (not sure what you call where they stick the needles?) pressure point areas. She also gave him a B12 shot and sent home some B12 for me to inject at home, twice per week.
She told me she can't make him 2 years old again, but based on the response she's seen so far, we can improve his quality of life significantly. I already see a lot of improvement.
He isn't dragging his rear feet when he walks. He's not nearly as stiff (what Teresa had described as the Frankenstein walk). He's getting up on his own even on some pretty slippery floors. He's sleeping more soundly (which she said means he's in less pain), and seems more playful in the yard. All in all, just a fantastic change.
Sure, he's still weak. He still stumbles a bit. But he's so very much better already. Next week we'll do the electric needle stimulation.
The only bad thing is he seemed really itchy last night, his ears, head, and feet. Not sure if it was from something she gave him, or unrelated. He's still chewing his feet today, so I'll have to bring it up to her tomorrow.
We are very, very encouraged. Thanks to everyone who suggested we pursue this!

We are so happy to hear that the acupuncture is helping Toby and taking away some of his pain/stiffness. Hope it continues to bring him relief.

So glad he's doing better!

My husband is also a non-believer, but has to admit there was improvement after treatments

I am seriously thinking of dragging my husband along today so he can meet this vet, who is just wonderful, and watch her do the full neulogical/reflex workup, and see how she does the injections and so on.
But then he'll go into heart failure when they present the bill......
