Tucker's new wagon

I have been looking around for a wagon to take my boy on my daily 2 mile walks around the cranberry bogs. I found one that works perfectly at Lowes and he loves it. It has fold down sides and he can get in&out easily. I just got it yesterday and made a quick modification with parts from a old lawn chair so I could push it instead of pull it and it works great, not much effort at all. The 13" wheels make it a breeze for going "off road". He really enjoys getting back to his favorite places and so do I

His buddy Quinn the flatcoat joined us for the maiden voyage. They used to get into some great "boxing matches" back in the day.

I am very handy and will make a few more modifications, at the very least the bright yellow will be replaced with camo paint.
For the "Tim the toolman guys" yes, I have thought about adding a battery with a DC motor and drivetrain to the wheels and a servo for steering with a remote control. Folks would get a kick out of that for sure, but I don't think I will go that far.

I believe this wagon will help him build up his strength If he needs to rest he gets a free ride. It can allow him to go that extra 100 feet without me worrying about it. We have all our routes mapped down to the foot.

Quinn is a long time friend of Tucker, I do not own him and if you are thinking of Fiona, she is my friends Golden, not mine. Fiona does visit often and Tucker certainly enjoys her company I know what you mean though, I did my research and know about the correct harness for a dog to pull a wagon, This site has pic's of a dog pulling another and some great ideas for modifications

Janine- I will update on the mods/paint, will be a bit because we have about 4 days of rain coming and we need it.

Tucker looks like he loves his new wagon! We have a green one just like it. Maybe I will use it for one our dogs someday.

I LOVE Tucker's new wheels!! Sure looks comfy, but where's his beverage holder?!

Looking forward to seeing it after the paint job too.
